北京大学[微博]世界伦理中心(伦理中心，world ethics institute beijing，weib )于年10月29日正式成立，是北京大学集研究与出版、教育与交流、实践与宣传为一体的学校级综合研究中心

伦理中心是北京大学和图宾根大学等学术团体合作的结晶，由德国ksg基金会的习理德主席和中国三一集团梁安定根理事长共同捐赠启动和研究资金。 国际知名学者杜维明教授担任伦理中心的创办主任。

伦理中心扎根于中华以前传来的文化，汲取各轴心文明、非轴心文明、及各原住民的伦理智慧，通过文明对话的多种途径，建立一个研究和教育，拥有国内和国际相辅相成、创造活力的研究团队，是世界伦理的 我希望世界伦理，特别是全球经济伦理，具有更多的开放性，具有更全球的意义。

伦理中心聘请经济伦理行业顶尖的学者，craig calhoun、gholamareza aavani、richard cooper、hans küng、thomas scanlon、michael spence、林毅夫、和平、万人、万人 伦理中心使用项目制开展研究，聘请姚新中、黄勇等伦理学教授，开展商业伦理、政治伦理、法律伦理、媒体伦理、生命伦理、生态伦理和儒家伦理、启蒙反省、宗教对话等研究项目。

北京大学世界伦理中心的宗旨

中心扎根于中国文化从以前流传下来，参照各文明精神经典，反思现代西方启蒙心理状态下经济人假设的兴起、历史起源、现代关联及未来意义，重建21世纪人类面对金融危机和国际秩序崩溃等状况的重要议题 我们希望政府、媒体、学术界、职业界、非政府组织中的公共知识分子更全面、综合、平衡地了解世界状况，同时也有助于增进文化中国、儒家东亚、亚太地区乃至世界范围的公共理性。
